Purchase Options Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to equipment hire from Sleeptime Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 54 644 874 251) trading as Sleeptime Medical, where hire is paid by recurring payments. It should be read with our Equipment Hire Terms & Conditions.
How hire payments work
- Hire is priced per week, with a minimum hire period of 2 weeks.
- Hire fees are paid in advance in 4-week billing cycles. Your first 4 weeks are charged when you order, and each following cycle is charged automatically to the payment method you used, until your hire ends.
- Delivery and collection is a one-off fee charged with your first payment. It is not a recurring charge.
How to cancel
To end your hire, give us at least seven (7) calendar days' notice by phone on (02) 9018 9255 or by email to info@sleeptimemedical.com.au. Notice starts when we receive it. We will confirm your cancellation and arrange a collection date, or a return to our Prestons showroom if you collected the equipment yourself.
You can also see your hire payments in the Subscriptions section of your customer account. If you cancel future payments there, please still contact us so we can arrange the return of the equipment.
When your hire ends
Your hire ends on the later of the end of the 2-week minimum hire period and seven days after we receive your notice, unless we agree another date with you. No further payments are charged after your hire ends.
Refund of unused weeks
Because hire is paid in advance, if your hire ends part-way through a paid 4-week cycle, we refund the hire fees for the unused weeks once the equipment has been returned or collected. Refunds are made to your original payment method.
No cancellation fee
We do not charge a fee for cancelling your hire.
Changes to your hire payments
We will not change your weekly hire price or billing cycle without telling you first and getting your agreement.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including refunds or remedies if we cannot supply the equipment or it is faulty.
